Always Here is the first release for “The Sleeping Giants”. So named because of a series of collaborations between Ben Murphy (Ben At Work, Passerine) Alex Gooding (Passerine, Fake Sibling, Tekwani) and other amazing friends, the giants shoulders upon which to stand. “Always Here” is a downtempo woozy yet warm synth, bass and drum jam. Taking influence from neo soul, jazz, trip hop and out there electronic music, it is a celebration of their musical admiration for one another. It’s an exploration of how to express gratitude for a long time friendship and how to express joy for another person gifting you their presence, all through the medium of music.
